    China really needs BG check of all countries within 5 years?

    Does China actually need a criminal background check from all countries lived in within 5 years to teach English?

     

    I taught in Cambodia 4 years ago, but getting the background check looks almost impossible from another country, especially having no memory of my address and management at the school completely changing.

    i consulted with a Chinese school HR staff and she said i only need prepare a legalized background check from my country.

    My friends just got a Z visa(work visa) from China and he only provided legalized BG check from hometown, but he did not travel to other countries in recent 5 years. So you\'re better to call the embassy/consulate to confirm

    As far as i know, it only requires legalized background check from your hometown only
