An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Construction Project Managers who has extensive experience in the maintenance and construction field to join us to lead on a project in Glasgow for 21 months, work VISA included for contract term.

We are a progressive provider with a clear vision, strong leadership, and ambitious growth plans. This would be a great move for someone with drive and passion – you could have considerable experience as a Foreman or currently work in a similar role specialising in construction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the work of the local lower-level assistant managers and labor force.
• Carefully review construction plans and create a competitive schedule for the project.
• Oversee and manage other construction managers and supervisors as assigned.
• Ensure that all the needed materials, workers, and equipment are ready to work.
• Pay close attention that all job sites are in compliance with safety rules and regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors and construction workers to ensure that the construction tasks are completed on time and in the necessary order.
• Track inventory.
• Prepare and manage all reports needed for the completion of a project.
• Ensure that correct and safe construction practices are being used during construction.

Requirements

• Past work experience as a construction manager is strongly preferred
• A BS in a related field is required
• In-depth knowledge of a variety of construction methods and practices
• Up-to-date knowledge of all rules and regulations as they apply to construction
• Excellent planner
• Able to look forward to mitigating risks and crisis
• Must be a strong leader and communicator
• Must possess superb time management and planning skills
